what did you think of the ending to the movie "donnie darko"?

I've been trying to wrap my mind around that movie for a while now. I finally bought it, so I could watch it over a couple of times. I think it's fascinating. I want a couple of my friends to watch it too so I can talk about it with someone. I thought the ending was amazing - it was like everything else just clicked. I still have questions, of course, but there are some websites out there that try to explain what everything was and meant. Great movie!

I saw the Directors Cut and it explained alot more than the normal movie

I love movies this twisted! the ending was great, even if it didn't make too much sense. I'm guessing time travel was involved.

I thought it was done right. I like how you can interpret it more than one way. So many people have different opinions on the meaning.

it was good.
surprising.
with the music and all it made me feel very intensely.
it was sad and hopeful all at once.
great movie.

it's a "Jesus" story, where he slowly realizes that in order to save the people he loves, he needs to give his life.

crazy confusing movie. I saw it maybe 3x and I figure that kid wanted to die. Wierd
