Our brains are hard-wired to want to believe in god(s). Plus it's a cultural thing; parents teach their kids that their religion is the only true religion. So religious myths live on and on.

My spell checker purely blew up. i do not position self belief in god. Why? because there is not any evidence. If he does exist so what? There are no answers. People take up belief in God because they think they He provides answers. But, in the end, they are only sefl serving answers. Religion is a selfish exercise. It only annoints those who are easily aligned into it's rulebooks.
