yup it's fun. i also liked his book "angels and demons". it's fun for us normal peeps who don't know much about art history; we are familiar, but don't really know specifics. so theories and possiblities that there were secret societies and all that crazy stuff is Awesome! who cares if it was real or not? there are crazy clubs and organizations these days too, doesn't mean they are right or good or bad, but if it is underground, it is automatically "interesting". keep an open mind, if it really interests you, research more, u'll find out what u think it real or made up. just don't believe everything u read, esp in a fiction book. :)
i recently read a book called "the magdalene line"..it was pretty good!

The Da Vinci Code is an interesting fictional novel which is not to be taken seriously. It is entertaining and a good read.

I find all of Dan Browns books excellent and highly enjoyable to read. I did find that the Da vinci Code did start off alittle slow but once I got into it I couldnt put ti down.

I loved the book, shame the film wasn't so good. I have also read all his other books. Angels & Demons (book prelude to Davinci code), Digital Fortress and Deception Point. Don't take the book to seriously I would say though, not all of its fact!

The davinci code is so old it's turned new again, and now back to old again. Anyone with time on there hands,and is into conjecture and conspiracies,yes it is an excellent read. But if you are lokking for a blockbuster page-turner ,look elsewhere. This is not for you!

I read it ages ago and thought it was great...REALLY wanna believe its not fiction...
Angels and Demons is really good too. Thats the prequal to The Da Vinci Code in case you're not sure...

Very good book - I enjoyed it and yes I would tell others to read it. Interesting, well written and will keep you up to finish it. Research is good but I don't believe things off hand, so if you get a chance do some research of your own.

i read that book and i think that it isn't so bad to read it but this book has nothing to give you. if you like mysteries and these things then i suggest you to read it. but if you want to read this book because you want to learn something about art and about Leonardo DA vinci then i think that this book has nothing to give you.
this book says that all the Leonardo DA vinci's work have secretes and these secrets can rebuilt the human history! and that one secret organization keep this secret for 1300 years.
i will say nothing more because i want by you to decide if you want to read this book or you don't!!!

I thought it was really good. I would never had read a book in that genre, as it is not really the kind of book I would read, but after much persuading, I was pleasently surprised. Angels and Demons is really good as well.

I read it and enjoyed it, I would advise anybody else to read it, it is a thoroughly good book, with an interesting and exciting plot line
