Nasty. Unless there is a clearly defined medical reason as to why they cannot bathe. Water is used to cleanse the body from all impurities and germs, internally and externally. Certainly, too much water can be harmful, however utilizing the necessary amount whether you are ingesting it or cleansing outwardly with it will only prove to be beneficial.
