I have found this very annoying and think anyone setting up a group should at least have the decency to reply within days not weeks. The information I had may have been very useful to one member of the group and that was why I had received information from a third party about the group. This group are losing out on help and advice because of the lack of administration. My advice don't set up a group unless you are prepared to work at it.

I know how you feel, but if they take that long, it's probably not worth the wait. But if you really want to join, you are just going to have to wait. Then again you could complain to the person who is running that particular group and be made aware of the problem

Is it as annoying as your question? You applied to a group and they have not yet accepted you. Maybe they are very slow because they are understaffed. Maybe they have already mentally rejected you but are trying to figure out how to kindly break the news to you.

If you don't like them withdraw your application. At that point please do not send us all a question to notify us of that decision.
