'Synchronicity' is a Jungian term for a meaningful coincidence that has a low probability of being a random, or chance, event.
Yes, including in some things that I thought were really messed up at the time they happened. And it is part of what really convinces me that God is real, and cares for us, and does get involved in our lives. So I used the word 'God-incidence' now, instead of 'co-incidence'.
One example is the town that I moved to. I moved here because of the landscape, but it is 'coincidentally' the best kind of community for me socially speaking also, which I couldn't have known before I moved here, and it is a rather unique kind of community.
Being here at YAnswers may also be an example. I was participating on a set of message boards and decided that I had grown past what was going on there and quit. The next day I had some extra time to surf the net then, and I saw some ad for YAnswers and decided to wander in and check it out. It turns out that this is the kind of fit, that was missing in the other site, for me. So it seems that, instead of just leaving something I was actually coming to something that was waiting for me.
I wonder if 'synchronicity' is kind of like 'serendipity'.
