I often get a shiver here and there. I know that shivers are there to warm you up, just like sweat is there to cool you down. What I can't understand is that I get them even though I am warm.. For example, I go passed a graveyard, or watch something scary or even when I see a dead animal in the road. Does anyone know anymore about it?

ahhh go to check out a gypsy! you might have contact with another realm... and no im not joking im being serious, you might have a very strong psychihc link to the dead! either that or when something you see and dont like sometimes your body just makes that reaction

One other reason why you shiver because of emotion. Aside from warming the body up, it's a reaction/reflex of your body to your scared reaction. It's quite normal really.

Its just a reaction, you are not actually shivering the same way as when you are cold. Its hard to explain its just you fell something that is not quite human, i suppose its akin to a 6th sense

It's just your body's involuntary reaction to a stimulus. All of our senses being stimulated- eg. sight when you're watching something scary- lead to a reaction by the body, in this case the same response but by different stimulus. It's controlled by the bodies autonomic system, I think. Perhaps check that!

When you see these things, it starts a stress response in your body, and blood gets diverted from your skin and digestive system. Your brain makes you shiver in response. The change in circulation in your digestive system is what gives you a funny feeling in your stomach.
