Use a lot of black eyeliner both on the eyelid and below the eye, and use lots of mascara.

1. Never line your eyes with a dark colour on the bottom lid.

2. Use a white pencil to line the lower lid. You may use a darker colour below the white line, if you really can't do without it. If your eyes are close set, start the dark line from the middle of the lid and finish towards the outer eye.

3. Avoid lining the upper lid if your eyes droop or if your eyes are deep set.

4. Wear dollops of mascara up and down to open up your eyes. Mascara is like a bra for your eyes; it accenuates what is there.

5. Apply white eye shadow (or any light coloured one) on the inner part of the eye, up and down. This draws extra attention to the eyes.

6. You may use glittery eyeshadow at night. Avoid anything too frosty during the day, and stick with the earthy shades or bright colours for some spice.

7. Lower your face when you talk. This makes the illusion of bigger eyes.

I'm not a fan of too much makeup, my routine in the morning is a little bit of powder to control the shine, lip gloss and mascara...
I always get complimented in my eyes and all i use is Maybelline black mascara (the one in the pink bottle) I have been using it for the last 10 years and it works great! All u gotta do is brush your eyelashes with the brush until your eyelashes are separated, usually 4 or 5 sweeps does the trick for me, if u still want to accentuate your eyes more then use dark brown eyeliner right underneath your bottom eyelashes- very lightly so it looks natural.... and make sure your eyebrows are well broomed!

Shape and define your eyes with eyeliner after you've applied eye shadow and before applying mascara. Whether you choose a soft line or a dramatic stroke, eyeliner draws attention.

Steps:
1. Choose an eyeliner appropriate for your eye color. Brown, navy and charcoal accent light eyes well, while brown and plum shades flatter brown eyes. Make sure your liner complements the color of your shadow.

2. Consider the type of look you're after. Pencil eyeliner gives your eyes soft definition, while liquid versions offer precision and drama. You can also moisten dark eye shadow and apply it with a small, flat brush.

3. Prepare a cake liner or a dark eye shadow by applying a small amount of water to your brush. Or, if you're using a pencil eyeliner, ensure that you've sharpened the pencil adequately.

4. Move the wet brush gently through your cake liner or dark shadow. Hold the brush or pencil as you would hold a pen.

5. Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you're doing.

6. Draw a line across the upper lid just above the lashes, from the inside corner to the outside corner of the eye. If you're using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye.

7. If you used a brush or a pencil, soften the look by gently smudging the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger.

8. Line the lower lids. Moving from the outside edge inward, draw a line on the outer two-thirds of the lid or more, depending on the look you're going for. Your line should be slightly thicker at the outside corner, becoming thinner as it moves in toward your nose. Using your brush or pencil, lightly stroke the area. If using a liquid liner, apply it in one smooth stroke. Apply less color so your eyes don't appear raccoonlike.

You could try a white eyeliner on your waterline. There are also some YouTube videos where gurus show you makeup techniques on how to achieve bigger and brighter eyes. A black liner on your waterline will make your eyes bolder but they will appear smaller.

Start with a light shimmery shadow and sweep it from lash to brow. Contour the crease of your eyelid with a medium shade, using a smaller eye shadow brush. Choose a dark shadow color to line your eyes, using a small, flat, angled brush for the application. Starting in the outer corner of your of your upper lid, brush the shadow across your lash line into the middle of your lid. Don't go all the way across as this will make your eyes seem smaller..

Create a more dramatic line by wetting the brush before stroking it through the shadow. Dab it into a few drops of water and proceed with the line. The shadow may feel wet as you draw your line, but it will dry quickly.

Only apply eyeliner to your upper lid. Then curl your eyelashes (it always makes you look more awake!). When applying eyeshadow, use a very light color (i.e. white, cream) to dab on the inner corner of both eyes. Continue the light eyeshadow up towards the brow. Also line your bottom lid with the same light color. Then apply a volumizing or curling mascara.

This is what I do...
I get a peachy eye gloss (shimmery) and line the eyes with that and blend in... you don't see it, but it makes your eyes brighter...
Then I just use a good mascara- I like maybelline unstoppable lashes or max factor

Use a brown or black one

Then just use a nude lip shade so your eyes are the ones that stand out more

First, white liner on the inner corners of the eye to brighten them up. Then, a champagne, slightly shimmery but fairly translucent eye shadow (I love Victoria's Secret Silk Wear Powder Eye Color in champagne). And if you need it, mascara.
