Yes, I watched the documentary. It was atrocious!!! What happened to those people in New Orleans on that awful day was horrific. The real truth was never told until now. I think Spike Lee did a wonderful job at telling and showing what really went on that day. I agree with you when you say that FEMA and BUSH suck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I saw the documentary. I was actually there a couple of months ago. Its still just as bad now as it was after the storm. Given that the government came out in full force for every other disaster we have had, I cannot understand why the people of New Orleans were neglected. And then being that this storm also affected parts of Alabama and Mississippi just as badly I think that they are getting neglected even worse because of the lack of media attention to those areas.

Yes I did.
I kind of feel bad from Brown because he was totally wrong for the position and became a scapegoat for the FEMA failures.
Unfortunately I can believe this happened. It just shows what is important to the government. I think it is time that the people mobilize and put the government back in its place.

No, I didn't. I did see it on the TV offerings, but chose to watch something else. How many times can we watch suffering and atrocities and cry out how unfair they are, and see how some could help but didn't, or how some did and lost all they had, etc etc. Let's help in any way we can, and also try to use our heads to decrease loss of human life and property in 'natural disasters' by building in places that are not flood plains and having warning systems and actually listening when a warning is given!

I didn't see all of it but to your outrage I can say that the whole point of the documentary was to make you angry. I wouldn't exactly call spike lee a genius. He owns spike tv which plays nothing but fighting and car shows.

Have you ever heard of a states sovereignty?
The federal governmant has NO PLACE or legal right
to control state actions.
Louisiana state government and New Orleans city government are at fault here, not Bush or the federal government.
