I am hooked on Harry Potter. I read each book atleast 3 times, then I saw the movies a billion. My fav actor in thw whole wide world is Emma Waston. I think J.K is the best author in the world!!!!!!! And I just love all the books and movies so much!!!! You can just call me a fanatic about Harry Potter!!!!!!!!!

I think he and his friends are so funny! I like that thier friendship has lasted so long. I can't wait for the last book to come out. I also can't wait till my oldest daughter get to the books reading level. I haven't read it to her because I feel that when she is old enough to read it she will be old enough to understand and not take everything literally. Kids believe alot of what they see and hear. I don't want her to believe that Harry Potter is real like she thinks Santa is or the Easter Bunny.

I love Harry Potter books and movies. books more than movies. i have been a fan of Harry Potter since 2002. That was when i was really getting into reading and every thing. i've read the books thousands of times and i've watched the movie even more.
What i like about the books is the way they were written. also how when you read it for the first time you don't want to put it down and then it makes you want to read them all over again. it pulls you into the story and makes you feel like you are really there. i am now in the process of reading the 5th one for the dozenth time. I like the movies because they are a lot like the books. It feels in what the imagination couldn't provide.

I like the magic! So I like Harry Potter so much. initially, my favorite character was The Dark Lord, my dear Lord Voldemort (specially in the form of Tom Marvolo Riddle), then I added Albus Dumbledore, Remus Lupin and Fenrir Greyback. Eventually I found something very important! I like all the characters in Harry Potter, even Harry himself!..
I've read the books over eight times for each (read the Goblet of fire about 12 times!).. And seen all the films over and over..
What I like about Harry Potter is being its realm very human, and somehow, very true.. the fears.. the dreams.. the fights.. everything in the life.. I can see it in Harry Potter..
In addition, the remarkable cast.. the dearest Emma Watson, Ralph Fiennes, and all the others whom I don't recall their names now.. it's soooooooo attractive.. so I could finish the Order of the Phoenix in the same night I bought it in.

I'm a Harry Potter fan myself, bought the original DVDs and pre-ordered the books - just couldn't wait.
I love all the characters and so do my kids!!!

Like you I am also hooked on HP.I've read Half Blood Prince so many times and can't wait for the last one to come out.But to be frank I really don't like Harry.The reason I like the books is for it's compelling story that always takes you by surprise.But if there should be any character that I like then it's gotta be Snape.He's the best villain (or friend??) ever written.

I like that it teaches kids that anyone can be a hero....and everyone is a hero in their own special way. (Hello Neville?)
I like that it's getting kids to read again in the technology age. My brother never read a book in his life but has read all of the HP books...several times.
And I like that it causes controversy. Controversy about some things is good.

Harry Potter is great!!!I love him very much!!!It has just one thing ...i don't like in the book or movie ....that nobody has ever trusted him...

i am hooked onHarry Potter! I belive strongly in encouraging children to read, so if an author can get a whole generation of children reading, i salute her!

I think it is a good book to get kids into reading. It is just pretend.
