Buy good quality, well taken care of used saddle. Or buy a good quality synthetic saddle.
Wintec makes good synthetic saddles that are light and easy to care for... But they still need to make sure they fit.
You check you local tack store for used saddle adds. Ricks in english town sells used saddles. Just make sure you check the tree and the fit on you and the horse first

I live in New York - but did you know that you can look for saddles on Ebay? A friend of mine got a decent Australian Saddle for a good price.

I would make contact with any of the horse farms or riding stables in your area and buy a used saddle first.
