They are called Cherry Melasha or something like that, I know the cherry is right. I brought my son into the doctor for one of these under his eye. If you can pull the skin taught over it and the color goes out the are fine. Once you let the skin loose again the blood goes back to it. Where it gets the name cherry.
Once you get older the color may not always go away and you can get more of them. The can come and go, they are cosmetic. You may get them removed if the do not go away on the own. My son has had his for about three years, it is getting lighter but has not gone away. My boyfriend has the little red things everywhere.
As for being Devil Marks, that is not true, we are all saved at my house.

Freckles are small tan spots of melanin on the skin of people with fair complexion.
Having freckles is genetic and is related to the presence of the melanocortin-1 receptor MC1R gene variant. Freckling is caused by the same process that produces sun tanning, although the distribution of melanin is not the same. Light skin and (especially) red hair are associated with an increased likelihood of being able to develop freckles.
Freckles are predominantly found on the face, although they may appear on any skin exposed to the sun. Freckles are rare on infants, and common on children aged 5 to 15; they are less common on adults.
Many fair-skinned Europeans get them, but they disappear after a while. Africans and East Asians, for example, are not likely to have them since their skin is not easily prone to the effects of the sun.
Upon exposure to the sun, freckles will reappear if they have been altered with creams or lasers, but do however fade with age. Freckles are not a skin disorder. People with a predisposition to freckles may be especially susceptible to sunburn and skin cancer, and should therefore take extra care to protect themselves in the sun.
In dermatology, the synonym ephelides is used to designate freckles.
While many people consider freckles unattractive, others find them appealing, and at the extreme can have a fetish for them. Freckle fetishists, who can be male or female, may also be fixated on freckling at particular locations of the body: shoulder-freckles, cheek-freckles, back-freckles, or other locations and combinations. Because freckles are closely genetically linked to red hair and Irish derivation, freckle fetishism is in many cases related to (but not identical with) redhead fetishism and trichophilia.
