Bonds was good.

The Giants defense and pitching, not so much.

I think he had a good performance last night. I was at the game sitting in left field right behind Bonds. Being a Braves fan, I was embarrassed at all the rude comments that were being yelled his way. It was crazy the stuff that people came up with to yell at him. It seemed like he was just throwing it back in their face when he hit those two homers and caught Francouer's would be homer. I cheer for the Braves and am a fan of baseball. Any good player out there deserves some cheers when they do something good. I think Berry put on a good show last night.

Barry looked good last night. It's unfortunate that his age caught up with him (in the form or injuries) at the same time the whole steroid thing came out. He really was one of the great players of our time... Baseball's substance abuse program and banned substance list were such a joke for so many years that MLB should take the blame for all of this stuff.... If it wasn't banned... which the stuff Bonds was supposedly on wasn't... then you shouldn't be allowed to ban it now and then go back and get him for using... Big Mac was on Andro before it was banned, then he stopped using it when it got banned.... so what?

Every now and then, the old war horse can reach back and still amaze fans with his bat and his glove.

I agree with the "fact guy."

I love how people keep on getting on Barry, but...

the ENTIRE offensive line for the Carolina Panthers? Ignored.
The Tour de France winner gets STRIPPED of the win? Ignored.
World Class sprinters test positive? Ignored.
Minor Leaguers test positive? Ignored.
Eric Gagne's arm falls off? Ignored.
Canseco ADMITS use? Eh, let him keep his MVP
Caminitti ADMITS use prior to his death? Who cares?
Roger Clemens? Anything you can say about Barry's phyiscal late life acheivments you can say the same for Roger. Anything you can say about Bond's surly attitude, you can say about Clemens. Right? Eh... ignore it.

Barry hits ANOTHER home run? Yup... he's gotta be a cheater.
Take away his awards and records!
You people with your double standards CRACK ME UP!

It is sad because he should be heralded as the greatest player of our modern time.

Fact. He has never tested positive for anything.
Fact. The supplements he were taking were not illegal
Fact. Every other player in the league was on something
Fact. The owners never got blamed for allowing this to happen, they were to busy cashing in. Should not MLB be held in contempt for allowing this to go on. Should not managers be stripped of victories if players were on something....
Fact. Barry is the goat for everyone who took steroids
Fact. The Federal government is on a witch hunt for Barry that should be illegal.

He can still play when he's healthy...I think he'd have turned in a Hall of Fame career if he'd never started steroids. He wouldn't have hit the home runs he's hit, of course.
The fact that...of the many people in baseball who despise Barry Bonds the most...a large number of them are his former (and current) teammates pretty much tells you all you need to know about him.

It's all downhill from here for Barry Bonds.

not bad. i mean 2 home runs is okay, and the nice grab to take away the home run. i thought he might lose his knee on that catch though. and his swings were pretty bad, but he got enough extensions to get power
