One you can afford, one that is safe, and one with good gas mileage. The last thing you want to do when you hit 18 is drag yourself down with a debt that you can barely take care of. You will enjoy a cheaper car much more until you start raking in the big bucks at your future job after school. Good Luck!

I wasn't aware cars came in cans. (couldn't resist) go with a Toyota Carolla. They are great on gas and will last you until you turn 35.

a Honda or a Toyota they are both reliable cars. Also gas efficient.
