Unless you are already on the pill then that won't work. Ask your GP about northisterone tablets. These can be taken just before your period and during the time you should have it and it will stop the period happening while you are on holiday. Not harmful if you don't do it all the time. You may bleed once you stop taking it for a little while though.
Northisterone in the hormone progesterone.

Yes if you are on the pill you can stop your period by continuing to take your pill every day without a break, However I would say you need to be taking the pill for a couple of months at least untill your body gets used to it.

You can use the pill for skipping periods by taking your next packet straight after you've finished one. But you must be on the pill first to do that and you will need to have a period around the time you take your first packet from the docs.

Yes, my daughter was going on holiday and went to the doc. in good time, and was given 2 packs to take continuously, or if you are on the pill already, just start a new pack when the current ones finish, either take them all or stop whenever you come back from holiday.

My wife often used to over-run her pill to avoid periods during holidays. It usually worked fine until we went to Rome for new-year. (The baby is due in 3 weeks!)
It sounds like you aren't currently on the pill, I don't know if the same rule applies, ask your doctor.

Yes, Choose the right pill though. Usually, it's ok to take it for longer than usual but not safe (u might get pregnant) to take it for less than 21 days b4 stopping for 7 days.

ask your doctor if its a good idea coz you might end up messing your hormones up and get irregular periods afterwards so go for it but be extra careful before doing it.

good luck
