Survival of the curious ?

People are curious because we want to know more... and more... and more! Humans always delve into the deepest part of a question, sometimes literally taking things apart simply to find out why. It's an inherent trait in all humanity.

Ever been around a toddler? Their first question is always "why?"... to everything you say to them (and yes I mean everything!!!). As humans grow they seek to know everything within their short span of life. Scientists take this "why" to it's extreme, poking into small single cells, atoms... and into the furthest reaches of outer space.

Put a small box into a room full of people. Now then... try to tell me that not a single person in that room really doesn't want to know what is in it! They may pretend they don't care, but as soon as someone begins to open it even those "die hard" restrainers will peek out of the corner of their eyes just to see what comes out of that box.

Without being curious, we would have so much less to experience, and experiencing things is what it's all about. So, no, I am not curious.
