Spybot is free. Anyone trying to sell this to you is attempting to scam you.

Spybot is available for free, why would u want to buy it for? You can get it at download.com. Just type in Spybot Search and Destroy. It is not as good as McAfee because they have gotten slower in updates. I would recommend you Adaware SE which is also free on download.com

I have Spybot and yes it is free. And it is good. I would highly recommend it.
