Are you kidding? There are too many different beliefs and egos in this country itself, let alone all of the rest...
But it is a nice dream, though.

That would take a lot of time.People would have to forget about their national pride,and every nation has one.I think that is very power full and it would take a lot of time to leave it behind.Then the matter of language,and of course richer countries would have to give some of their wealth so we would all be on the same level...I don¸t see it happening any time soon.

I like the classic sci-fi premise: that it won't happen until we meet aliens. It's an issue of identity. People won't identify simply as "people" until there's someone else to identify against. I don't think monkeys quite cut it.
