Stealing is wrong.
It is wrong to take something that is not yours or owed you.
With anything though, there are grey areas. For example, if you work for the company and they didn't pay you for some hours worked, you should report it and get it straightened out, but if that is for some reason impossible, then taking something of equal value might be justifiable, though still not the ideal solution.

There's no such thing as right or wrong. If someone were to steal all my stuff, it would piss me off, but they wouldn't be either right or wrong for doing it. The same can be said for anything. If someone were to kill me, that person wouldn't be right or wrong. It's just that **** happens. If you do something and someone says it's wrong, just blame it on a momentary loss of muscular co-ordination, like Jack Nicholson does in the Shining!

Of course. Stealing is wrong...& illegal...period. If you are telling yourself that a big company can absorb the loss keep in mind that they don't. They increase prices to make up for the loss. Who are you to increase prices for me?!

Absolutely! I work in the Security Industry, & corporations spend billions of dollars every year to prevent theft from their stores. In turn, they pass that expence on to the consumer. When someone steals from a store, we all pay for it.
