Depends where you live. UK is 16 - but don't smoke -
If you smoke a pack a day that's an average of £5per day, thats £35per week, thats £1820per year, that's £127,400 over 70 years - if indeed you live that long, which as a smoker you probably won't. I hope they ban it soon - I'm an ex-smoker - and it's horrible giving up, but I'm glad I did. I still crave them every single day, but at least I now have money, I don't smell, I can breathe properly, have a sense of smell and taste, and won't (hopefully)get lung cancer, heart disease, etc etc

Sometimes 18, sometimes 21. Driver's license works as ID.

18, and a real ID is a state issued document such as a driver's lisence or state ID card. Military IDs work as well as passports. Be glad you are asked for ID. I'm 30 and they stll card me for smokes.

18 in most of the U.S.
A driver's license, DMV-issued ID, military ID, or passport are the usual forms of accepted ID.
