He is probably teething. My son does the same thing too. He just turned 3 months. You can check and see if his gums are white. That's another sign of teething. Please note that some babies can go through teething for months without ever cutting a tooth.

Good luck!

He could be teething, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's getting teeth through. Although he could very well be. Some children do get teeth in that young, or others, like mine, show signs of teething that early and never get a tooth until after 12 months! So you'll just have to wait and see!

OK well yes it can be teething, my son was breaking teeth at 5 to 6 mths, whitch is early but some do. All that dribly is normal for teething as well as that age group, at that age a child produces alt of drul, it will be like that for a few mths, keep lots of bibs handy.

Good Luck mom

It is possible. Babies r born w/ their teeth already formed in their gums. Some teeth earlier than others. My son's 1st tooth came in at 4mos. The things u've said r symptoms of teething but sometimes it can b awhile b4 a tooth actually comes in.

At two and a half months, I would say he's too young to start teething right now. But all children are different, so it could be. Other signs to look for with teething are a runny nose, low grade fever and irritablity.

my sons first two teeth popped through at 15 weeks old, so yes its possible, go to the store and in the baby section they have those water filled teething rings, refrigerate them (not freeze), and let him suck and gum on them, its smart to have 2 or 3 on hand because they do warm up fast
