ok, i like this kid at my school. however, he WENT out with my best friend and broke up with her. I really like him and I think I might be the reason they broke up. (that's a long story how i go that theroy) My friend said she's kill me (not really) if we went out, because she knows I like him, and she's still head over heels with him. I don't know what to do! Oh, and she wants me to help them get back together. What should I do? I want to be loyal to my friends but I don't want to be single anymore.

You are in a very tough situation, especially since its involving your friend. You need to be honest with her about the situation. As to dating the ex boyfriend - you may want to wait on that one until the hurt is gone. Best friends are here forever but boyfriends can come and go.

think of it this way, how long do you think you are going to be with this guy if you decide to get into a relationship? let says you and him because a item ok? then a week later he breaks it off with you. like he did your Best friend, well if that happens then not only did you loose the guy but more or less you will loose your best friend too.
Find a guy that your best friend doesnt like either, there are other guys out there, I jsut dont think its wise to chase after a guy that more or less you will looose a friendship over it too.

Whatever you do never take your friends leftover, this is a bad choice for you to make no matter if you like him or not. It not worth your time to even think about dating this guy. This is only going to cause drama between you and your best friend so why mess up a good relationship over someone that your best friend has dated. Don't do it , He may date you and leave you with another one of your best friend. I would advise you to find you someone else to date cause this aint nothing but drama waiting to happen between you, your bestfriend and this guy. If you want to be that best friend and loyal don't even think about trying to get this relationship with him, why would you wanna be with someone your best friend done kiss, slept with and did other things with when all she going tell you is how he is and everything else. You just wasting your time if you are trying to be with him. Seek elsewhere Trust me this is drama waiting to happen and why hurt your best friend feeling by trying to get into a relationship with her man.

You need a guy's point of view:
Unless your friend is willing to share - than both of you should dump him all together...
But IF that is your theory, than you and your friend can enjoy being "played" by this guy until HE decides to move on.
Would you or your friend plan on marrying this guy in the next 4 years? If not, MOVE ON....

keep ur paws off of him!!! that was ur best friends guy first not urs! n since ur still in school i assume ur very young to which i will quote after a most famous saying uve probably been hearing alot, "there are plenty of fish in the sea". its not like ur going to marry this guy there will b others so just wait. obviously ur friend still likes him n she had him first. u dont have to help her get back w/ him just dont keep the guy for urself. plus its better to lose one guy compared to one GOOD friend! friends are ALOOOT harder to come by then guys

You don't know how he feels about you. All you know for sure is that you like him, your friend likes him, and he liked your friend. How about finding some guy who doesn't have so many complications? And if this boy does like you, you have a very hard decision to make. Because if you choose to date him, you and your bff are truly over.

she is forbidding you from getting out with him and even telling you to help her get back to him, what is she doing ! rubbing your face in to it !!!!!!!
she doesnt care about your friendship or what your feeling why should you care about her ! she is jealous and selfish are you sure you want her as a friend !!!!

ask the guy who he really likes and if its you, then tell your friend. if she's really ur friend she'll understand. or u could find someone else 2 like. there r a lot of guys out there.
