They're always quick to mock us people with mild myopia with their quick witted remarks such as "Oy! four eyes". Is there a correlation between eyesight and social dysfunction?

Of course Burberry produce designer frames! They're actually quite tasteful.
Chavs don't wear glasses because they can't be stolen easily as a complete pair which the individual will be able to see clearly with. Other things such as large gold chains can be worn by anyone and are easy to mug people for but if you mug someone for their glasses then it's very unlikely they will be the right prescription for you.
Also part of chav culture is not caring too much about personal health. For example you don't see many chavs at the dentist. Taking responsibility for oneself is not part of the chav mindset. If they can't see they probably think that it is somebody else's fault so why should they sort it out by doing the responsible thing and going to see an optician?
I think that chavs can be easily ignored, unless you are spoiling for a fight in which case make sure you know some martial arts, amke sure they don't have any weapons then kick some *** guilt free!

I've seen a few chavs with glasses!
Trying to look more sophisticated, like some sort of sophisti-chav!
A true chav doesn't need glasses as they probably can't read, or even see straight after all of that cheap cider

Why would you expect to see a Chav in glasses, wouldn't they then see for themselves just how ridiculous they looked and as their Burberry caps are busy keeping their one and only brain cell's warm they haven't worked out for themselves yet that they may have bad eyesight as well as bad taste,

Most people where glasses so they can read more easily. The majority of chavs cannot read, so there is no point.

You know I've never noticed that before! But it's true! And I have seen Burberry frames, so that can't be why...

You see, the reason they call you 'four eyes' is due to their double vision. So they might not be blind, but they certainly need their eyes checked.
