There are 48 contiguous states - states that touch another state.
There are 49 continental states - states that are on the continent of North America. (sorry, jsweit, Alaska is technically attached to the continent of North America.)
Juneau it is, at 134 degrees W
For the contiguous states, it would be Salem, OR.
The Oregon State Capitol building in Salem, OR (123 deg, 2 min W) is slightly west of the Washington State Capitol building in Olympia, WA (122 deg, 54 min W).

Yep, it's Juneau. Another bit of trivia for you. Alaska is the easternmost state of all 50 AND it is the westernmost state of all 50 states. Why? The international date line runs through it. So, it is both the eastern and western hemispheres.
