I love those books. I have read every single one of them and am currently looking for the comic book. I would love o chat, but I have made it a rule not to keep any chat things active on my account. My older sister takes advantage and tells me what she thinks about my life, husband, and baby boy. So I am sorry I cant chat, but here is my email. gin_jackson@yahoo.com. To make it easier for people, just refer to them as Laurel K. Hamilton Anita Blake books.

I liked the first few in the series and Obsidian Butterfly, but after Anita was marked by Jean Paul and it started turning into an orgy I gave up on it. I like the tough and independent Animators, Inc employee Anita Blake who was in 'The Laughing Corpse,' not Anita the nympho. Yuck!
The characters were getting ridiculously overpowerful, too. I prefered it when it was more realistic and gritty. Supernatural, but an ordinary human still had a fighting chance.

Nah, I don't want to chat.
But, I'm a huge fan.
Just think of the Army of vamps Anita is going to marshal when she takes over all the uncommitted vamps in the church! She thinks that all the 'vamp churchs' across the country have not been forcing their members to "pledge the oath".
