I,m not a believer in engine additives, I believe your best bet at long engine life is good regular maintenance BUT since your engine has bad rings as you say then you could try some engine additives to see if that might help since the only alternative is an overhaul. Good luck.

The only way to solve this problem is to rebuild the engine or have it replaced with a low mileage engine from a wrecking yard.

Rebuild the engine, buy a rebuilt engine, or retire it to the junkyard.

I think you should have a mechanic look at your car, perhaps your car needs maintenance or repair

Is the smoke blue? then it's burning oil.

Is the smoke black? then it's burning too much fuel.

If it's blue- not much hope.

If it's black- get it fixed at a reputable garage.
