Yes.

You get to be Rude, and if you want be miserable too.

You also get to drive 20 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone.

But the best thing is that you can act crazy and it's ok because people just think it's because you are going senile...

:o)

PS
Hey Stinky finger

Why such a Naughty girl name and no 360 to show what you got?

I was wandering the same thing. I go around all day long being told that I am being rude, when I hold doors for people, say yes sir/mam, thank you, how ya doing, and just being a nice guy, and the other night some old lady about ran me over in the Ruby Tuesday parking lot, then jumped in front of my wife and I in line, and had a group of senior citizens talking so loud that if someone had dropped a bomb next to the restaraunt we would have never heard it go off. So, although I think not, it does seem like you do get a liscence to be rude when you get old.

The elderly haven't cornered the market on rude -kids can be pretty rude to each other . I think adolescents are harder on each other than any other age group . SOME of the elderly just seem to complain more ; and that could be to get attention , when we don't spend enough time with them . No other age group is made the brunt of jokes more than older people . It is frustrating driving behind them in their big Cadillacs going 20 miles an hour ..because their reflexes have slowed and their eyes aren't what they used to be . We need to be more patient and understanding . Maybe they wouldn't have so much to complain about ; but I really don't think it's rudeness .

I've applied for my rude license three times now and they keep denying me. I try my best to be a crogedy (or crotchety if you know how to spell) old man, but I still haven't mastered that skill.

My guess is that you are either under 23 or live in Florida. Which would limit your experience to older folks as less than pleasant.

Remember:
Inside every older person is a younger person wondering what happened.
Youth is a disease from which we all recover.
Youth would be an ideal state if it came a little later in life
I am not 39, I'm eighteen with 21 years experience.
I still have a full deck; I just shuffle slower now.
Youth is a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children.

Good LUCK!

Well, let's see.....I'm 45...and I got my "learner's permit" to be rude when I was 18. So I practiced being rude until I applied for a license at 40.

Getting the license wasn't hard, but when you group that with licenses to be witty, sarcastic, disinterested, apathetic, gregarious and obnoxious.....the costs for all those licenses really put a dent in my wallet.

Cr@p.....now I have to get a license to be sad and morose!

That's funny? I have conquered this question too? But I think it does not have any thing to do with becoming old/ It's the person that has no manners or hasn't been taught...

well, maybe not rude, but a license to be direct or brush off what you think is unimportant. this can seem rude, but comes from a different place.

Yeah, but when you're young, you get a driver's license and that runs over-- or "trumps" the rude license!!HAHA
