if the truth hurts then why do we always seek the truth ?

yes i do agree with u the truth does hurt!but because of our expectations ,when we r wrong we become upset and hurt!and the reason why we continuously seek the truth is simply because we dont want 2 be wrong r hurt again its a bad feeling.4 example ;we all know we r going to die some day,and thats bad an way beond being hurt but we wound all love 2 know when! so the expectations that we have for the future wont be just an other wrong expectation.

I'd rather know the truth than not know. Anyways, the truth always comes out eventually, so I'd prefer to know up front than be caught off guard.

Because regardless if the truth hurts or not, we have to know that they way we live, what people tell us, is the truth not lies.

Truth doesn't always hurt & when it does, that's because we are usually forced to rethink our position on some subject because the truth doesn't line up with our pre-conceived notions.

hi, its actually good evening here in Australia!!! i think we are curious beings and just have to know even if its going to hurt. I'm like that and then i think (or even think as i ask a stupid question) i didn't really want to know cause now I'm either offended, hurt or pissed off!!!!
