A small can weigh 1.23N in air and has a volume of 1 X 10 -5 m3. How much will it weigh when completely submerged in water? Pls show solution. Thats 10 to the negative 5th power

Let water's density = 1000kg/m^3

So, wt. in water = 1.23 - 10^-5*10^3*9.8 = 1.13 N approx.

New weight = 1.23 - (equavilent weight of water of 1x10-5m3)
