You have to be at least 18 in all but two states in the U.S. to be married without parental consent. Nebraska you have to be at least 19 and Mississippi you have to be at least 21. So you must have parental consent in the U.S. at age 16.

You can get married in any state at 16 if you are emancipated. You can get your emancipation granted by petitioning a judge. It's like declaring yourself an adult before you are 18. You would have to show that you can take care of yourself. Good luck.

certain states will allow you marry if you are pregnant without a parents permit. i know you do not want to hear this, but you will be sorry later on, a wedding is suppose to be special and a one in a life time thing, why cheat yourself of precious memories? why cheat your family out of this happy moment with you, think of your Daugherty, what will you have to show her of this happy occasion? there are lots of reason to have your parents consent. what about holidays, don't you want you and your husband to be welcome without stress in the family, or do you even have family values?

There is NO place that allows that.

There are places that allow a 16 year old to marry, but it is with parental consent

I don't think there is any state that will allow a sixteen year old to get married without a parents consent....why would you want to marry so young?

I had a friend who, at the age of 16, wanted to get married in the worst way.

It turned out to be the worst thing in her life.

I think there are some states that allow (possibly Alabama). I live in Georgia and the only way to do that here is for the female to be pregnant, then you don't need parents permission.
