Bathe the kids. Clean the kitchen. Fold the laundry. Make the bed. Do whatever it is she normally does. Tell her to relax.

That is a daily activity at my house. We share all duties so we have more time for other things.
To romance her do something spontaneous and something she would not expect.

I did a lot since my ex worked the 2nd shift. But it was never returned it just expected. She never did other things that would help me out like doing yard work or taking the car for a simple oil change. So I guess it depends on the other person because you can do all these things but if the other person doesn't recognize the efforts its all for not. I guess that is why she is my ex!

I do all that stuff, except the laundry for some reason she likes that, just as a matter of course. I could never see why it's women's work, and she does work, not full time, but she does work.

helping her out with some chores shud be a good way to show her you care etc.... giving her a bit of time off to relax will make her feel better and who knows, there mite something at the end of a day of doing chores for her... *wink*

Speaking of a wife, my husband does help me with those areas when I am busy with something. We both put into a joint effort when it comes to raising a family, a house and a relationship.
