Nothing wrong, the ones who think that's wrong are fasists and racists. They are afraid of anything different because they are narrow minded and they think that only when everything's the same that's good.
Don't worry about them. They are miserable following rules of books like the Bibles and hypocrisis guides them.they can't love, they are sad, and they think that other people don't deserve to enjoy life. Well don't hear that bollocks"Be a christian" because Christ cared about love and only love. Church came up with all this **** to gain power over people, to scare. Have you watched the film"VforVendetta"?What the government did there, that's what the church does.
If u want to believe in sth believe in love and gays are entitled to love just like everyone else. You will find people to accept you(if u are gay and you're not just asking)for what you are.Because people should be judged for their personnalities.Great artists and educated people are gay. Moreover, being straight is not a proof of being a nice person! How could that be???
Have a wonderful life.

More accurately, What is it about gays that those who don't like gays have a problem with? As I am not in either group, I can only speculate.
There is a human reflex that if someone does/believes/is/chooses something, that someone is implicitly suggesting that it is best for everyone, including them. Now give that attitude to a very "manly," i.e. proud of being a man and all that comes with it, person. Now comes a gay person. If the person is childish and insecure, their attitude will overwhelm them, and dislike the gay person for his supposed suggestion that the "manly" person become gay. Why do you think Christian televangelists are always talking about gay conspiracies, brainwashing kids to be gay, etc.? It's because they think that by merely existing, you are doing these things.
Then there are religious reasons. These are times when someone points to a religious book or other teaching, and claims that as authority. Sometimes they do this because they truly believe that some god said so, and they disbelieve it at their peril; they, the true believers, are the scary ones. Other "religious" homophobes look to the most authoritative set of rules they can find, and how much more authoritative can you get than God?
Finally, there are the ones that get philosophical, who say things like it is unnatural, or that if everyone did it, we as a species would die out. My answers? irrelevent even if it was true, and well duh, but they don't, so what's the problem? The later is actually an application of Immanuel Kant's Categorical Imperitive, which basically says we should all do that which if everyone did, everyone would be happy. This is more commonly used to justify voting, even when a single vote makes very little difference. I'll leave a more talented philosopher to debunk this use of CI. I will say, however, that there are other codes of conduct than just CI that we (should) use to guide our actions.
As you have probably guessed, these three categories overlap quite a bit; the afraid ones may use religion as an excuse, and the smarter among them try to philosophize it. My advice? As much as you can, ignore the homophobia. If dealing with people who are or may be homophobes, be friendly. Treat them like any other person. The fact that you're gay, will come out when it does. If they think less of you for it, that's their problem, not yours (hopefully this is not a superior we're talking about). Most people don't start off all their conversations with "you're not gay, are you?" If they do, they have much more serious problems than you, so try to be happy that while you're concerned with getting along with people, they are concerned with alienating them.

Being gay is different than the norm of being straight. People fear what they don't know or understand and feel they have to critisize someone for being different just to make themselves feel better.
Then there are some people who think negatively about it just because the Bible says so. Religiously, they were brought up to believe that it's immoral.
But not everybody feels negatively about it. You have the right to choose. You choose whatever makes you feel happy.

Gay is different and and unknown- different and unknown scares people. Take for example afterlife-they are afraid of death and afterlife and they cannot come in good terms with it as they can't come in good terms with homosexual individuals. Unfortunately, we cannot make them see that being gay doesn't mean that someone is not a man or a normal person! Personally, I'm fed up with all these prudes-especially my own family. What we are is *OUR* decision!!!

Because if the whole world was gay, the human race would be extinct in less than 100 years.
Now, there's nothing wrong with you individually being gay, because you have free will. But I'm just saying...

It's a disease. The cure hasn't been found yet. I think that if it's hereditary, it will cure itself in a few generations. I don't think negative about gays; I think of them as people who need to be treated and cured.
