Can only live in hope, but without Wash and Shepherd would it be as good?
Having said that Jaynestown from the first series is almost as good as the Buffy episode Hush. Quite frankly, Josh Whedon should make every tv show.

Yes, but only if it's done right. I think the Sci-Fi channel could do a great job with it, like they have done with the Stargate series and Battlestar Galactica. Joss would HAVE to be at the helm again, with the original crew.
