Is male homosexuality the desire to be female or simply attraction to males? How would you describe the moment u realised that you were gay? Were u on sum: "I'm a woman trapped inside a man's body" OR "I'm not attracted to girlz, i'm attracted to guyz" OR a combination of both. Maybe it's not as complicated a i think it is so i need blunt, honest answers. No judgment, asking coz i find so interesting. Answer only if u are a male homosexual plz. thnx

A couple of definitions you obviously are completely unaware of.
Homosexuality and Transsexuality.
These are NOT the same thing, so please kindly stop getting your definitions mixed up.
Homosexuality is about an individuals sexuality, meaning what sexual partner they are attracted to.
Transexuality is about an individuals gender identity.
Sometime a person my be both, but it's rare. It does NOT mean the terms are interchangeable, by any means!

Homosexuality: The sexual attraction to members of the same gender.

Transsexuality: A Dysphoric state where a person believes he/she does not fit the physical gender which they were born into.

As a female who is ALSO homosexual, I can say I never once wanted to be male. I'm happy being female, I'm even glad I'm female. If I weren't female I would never have been able to give birth to my son. I do not live as a male through my son either. As I said, I enjoy being a girl!
I have always known I was attracted to women, there was no moment of realization, it's just something that has always been there. No, I didn't always accept my attraction to women, that came later.

I don't think this question is or should be directed only at males. I feel my experience and understanding as a female and as a homosexual are quite pertinent to this discussion.

Gay men don't wish to be with a woman or be a woman. Gay men are attracted to men.

Transvestites typically are straight men who get sexual gratification dressing up as women. Many do so with the help of their wives. A small subsection like to go out dressed, and sometimes frequent gay bars where they know people will not be judgemental.

Transexuals have a physical body that doesn't match their psychological gender. They feel literally trapped in the wrong body.

Drag queens are totally over the top paradies of women; they don't want to BE women; they want to look better than any woman could! And some even succeed - see Rue Paul for an example. Drag is mainly entertainment and fun, not a sexual thing at all.

Bad Drag is a halloween type thing, where gay men with hairy chests and beards will dress in really poor taste as a woman. Again, not sexual, just outrageous fun.

I'm a gay male and I've never really wished I was a woman or thought that I was a woman trapped in a man's body. That's maybe more a definition that fits a transsexual person.

I'm a man and I look and act like a man. I just find myself attracted to men. And the first moment? It wasn't an Epiphany or anything like that. I've just always been into other guys.

I had an attraction to sex! I slept with women and enjoyed orally pleasing them as well. But the sex was missing something. I didnt like penetration and avoided it because I felt no want at all. Once I started acting on my longtime homosexual impulses I found that missing peice. It over shadowed anything a woman could bring me and I was and am now and forever will be a homosexual!

Never had a desire to be female.
All I know is when I was about 4 or 5, I knew I liked men more than women. Of course at that age I knew nothing about sex, but I knew I was lovingly attracted to guys.
As I grew up I dated girls, but there was always that "thing" inside me that said, 'you like boys better'. I did not act on my attractions to men until I was 18.

Homosexuality is a sexual attraction to other males. And bisexual males are attracted to both sexes. It has nothing to do with gender. A homosexual or bisexual man usually has no wish to dress or somehow be categorized with women. Their sexual object of interest definitely includes men.

I never did or think that I will have a desire to wear a dress or tiara's.
As far as the "moment", I had been in denial my entire life (never underestimate the power of denial), but when I shook the hand (and that's all we did) of the guy who would become my first boyfriend, the denial left me quicker than when Brad left Jen. I came out not long after and have never looked back.

Being gay and being transgendered are two very different thing. Gays are attracted to the same gender. Gay men are men attracted to men. Transsexuals are born with the brain opposite that of their sex.
