I honestly...don't know. I can tell you what I think though. I don't think it's really EITHER of those two situations. I don't believe in a "big bang" as far as evolution is concerned, and I also don't think I entirely believe in "God". The Bible has too many outside influences, and written by too many people to know it's real "truth", as far as "God" goes, in my opinion. I guess what I'm trying to say is that yes, I MAY believe that there is a SUPREME FORCE that guides the universe, but I may NOT believe it is a "God" the way the Christian world would like us to believe in "God".
However, this world or "reality" that we live in, may not even be "real". What if this is all some kind of dream that we all share? What if life on earth is just some kind of "dream" to "God"? Do we really even EXIST?
A philosopher once said "I think therefore I am". Well, if you believe THAT, then you could logically argue that BOTH options of how the world was created would be accurate. If you THINK there is a God that created the universe, then that's how it was created for YOU. That's YOUR reality, which is valid. However, if you THINK the world was created by the big bang theory, then for YOU, that is YOUR reality, and is equally as valid. Not necessarily the ACTION, but your thought process. And I am not one to tell someone that the way they think is right or wrong. That's just like the "is the glass half empty or half full?" Well, depending on what you believe and your perception, it could be either. Does that make one right and one wrong? No. It's just a matter of perception.
A lot of people believe in the creation of the universe as a noun. Meaning that the world had to come from SOMETHING, SOMEONE, or SOMEWHERE. However, there are a few instances where a noun can be a idea, and not necessarily something tangible. I believe that may be how the world was created, by a concept or an idea, not necessarily by something tangible. That a force or spirit guides us. The problem that I see though, is that too many people want to call that force or spirit "God". That's where I have the issue. If you believe in a spiritual force, then people want you to believe that is "God" and none other. They want you to believe in the Western world's idea of Christianity. I don't know if I necessarily believe that. It's almost like a package deal. If you believe in God, then you must also believe in the Bible and everything else that Christianity is associated with. I just don't know if I can do that.
So, for now, I continue to just say "I don't know, but I'd LOVE to find out."

Both are correct cause in the beginning there was the word and that word was A Big Bang..
THUNDER God created the world with the word and man shall do the same make clones or copies of our world before the end of time.
The followers of the Rapture theory will be taken to these copies of the world and miss Jesus coming to save the world!

Have you ever really looked at mold?? I personally dont think humanity was the concious effort of any diety. The fact that we're questioning our orgin, and iconoclasting the simplicity of existance proves we, as a selfconcious society, have such a long way to go!
Anyone that can grasp the fundamental mechanics of biology can see that our place on this spinning orb, is but a fraction of a second long in the whole of the universe. WE WERE NOT CREATED PEOPLE! As with any organism, we have behaviors, habits, niches, communes. We mutate, have a social infrastructer characteristic of ALL living things. This desperate need of ours to validate life...is ridiculous! When life is VALIDITY. Simple right?! You'd think so.
As far as this big bang theory is concerned...rather than fund exspenses for this particular theory. Which is what it is, a theory. I would have curtailed the scientific research to more immediate humanitrian needs. Such as cures for diaseases, poverty, healthcare..etc. But for some odd reason, go fig, we have placed more value on the unqualified NOTHING, instead of the valid whole. We're so asinine.

The limitation of such questions is.
1. How can you scale the infinite with finite?
2. How can you judge Unknown with known?
3. How do you know something which is beyond our comprehension? When you go to space, since you have not got anything to smell doesn't mean that emptiness doesn't have any smell. Your receptor is not powerful enough to smell the emptiness. or there is no smell at all. How will you prove any of these when there is no receptor at all? Read bible/qurann and tie your other receptors also.
4. What merit you will have of asking answerless questions
Our receptors are not powerful enough to prove it either way. Neither bible gives an answer nor Qurann. What they claim as final is not final. There is no beginning and no ending. Those are books written by finite beings not receptors. If I ask a question as what is filled in emptiness. Will you tell it as empty? or filled with darkness or "Quarks". We prove time and again that we are finite...trying to know infinite with this body and mind is foolishness. Mind body expansion is possible but that also only to certain extend. As a society, little by little let us progress, be a part of it, if possible, a torch bearer..................

God could have initiated the big bang. One must always remember that God is always in full control.
