I just had to do this the other day due to getting stuck in Microsoft Dungeon Seige 2, so I used GameBanshee, and IGN.com
CheaterPlanet also is a good one, I guess it depends on what game you are looking for, if it is popular or not, and if anyone has written a Walktrough for it?

try GameFaqs.com it's free but keep in mind most of the infor there is just in plan text. Depending on the game in question you are looking for you might find someone that has posted pics of anything related. But the walkthrough are all in text.
