I am a smoker of Newport Cigarettes, Lorillard and I have been increasing my cigarette consumption steadily over the past few years. I asked myself why was i demanding more and more each day. The asnwer is easy and its according to the New Jersey Department of Health findings: That cigarette coompanies including makers of Marlboro, Newport, and Camel have been increasing their nicotine levels by as much as 20%. In a time when its required by law to warn of the effects, how come i haven't been warned that these makers are increasing their nicotine levels by as much as 20%, making it harder to quit. If Who wants to represent me and pasue them?

I know this really isn't an answer but I feel compelled to comment.

Really? Could you site your source? All I can find as far as nicotine manipulation were articles that dated back to the early 90's about "studies" from the 70's and 80's. What is CURRENTLY being done?

I too am a smoker.

One of the few times you get more without a price increase is a bad thing! I have mixed feelings about the news on increasing nicotine in cigarettes. The way I understand it, the TAR and gases cause the damage to our hearts and lungs, the nicotine is a stimulant, and the addictive substance. Too much nicotine is poisonous.

It seems if the amount of our drug is increased in cigarettes, the demand to satisfy that need would be less, not more.

I smoke a pipe, and cigars.

I smoke and I would not sue a cigarette company. If I go to Las Vegas and lose my car, my wife's car my business, my home, my kid's college fund I don't have a right to sue the casino. Do I?

If the amount of the drug is increased, wouldn't you require LESS cigarettes to get your fix?

I smoked cigarettes for 52 years, before stopping.
You are either lying, or someone is feeding you lies that you believe. Or you might just be screwed-up in the head.
Are you trying to make money?
