How do I know if my Child's jeans are to short in length?

I have bought several pairs of jeans and the look short. How can I tell if the do fit right? help please

If you can see sock before they move, they are too short. Be sure to have the bottoms touch the laces or 3/4 of the shoe that they are wearing. Else, they aren't cool jeans.

they should be a little over their shoes not covering the whole shoe bu you should allow growing room. have the child walk for you they should not be at their ankles or above the top of the shoe those are definitely too short. depending on the age of the child they have student sizes that have an inseam length or husky sizes are for shorter body types or you could buy longer and hem them but you don't want highwaters.i hope this helps

Have your child sit down on a chair while wearing the jeans. If you can see the majority of his socks, they are too short

you really want the jeans to come down over thier socks and rest on the tops of their shoes or they will look like high water pants.

If your child's jeans do not come pass the ankle when he/she is sitting, they are too short.

They should drape slightly over the shoes. If they just hang there, they are too short and the kids will ask, "Where's the flood?"

make sure that they are pulled up where they're supposed to on the hips and then make sure the bottom of the pant legs are resting on the shoes.

If s/he sits down and they fly up to his/her shins then yes... they are too short. LOL...
