It could be American history, or world history. For me, it would back in the Medieval Ages, when chivalry began. It would also be when the woman's suffrage movement began when we were able to vote, when women pilots (WASPS) flew aircraft in the wars, and when Margaret Sanger made birth control pills available. An honorable mention is to go back to England, and experience how the Bronte sisters became known writers.

I would pick the late 40's and the 50's. The war was over, their was the GI Bill, so people who never dreamed of it before could go to college. People were buying their first homes , and new cars, there was no more rationing. Girls wore poodle skirts, there were soda shopes, drive ins, drivein movies. There were the Fonzi boys, and drag races. Happy Days, I guess, My Mom says it was the best time ever. I would have loved it.

The life in the world has continued to improve over time. Chivalry of the Middle Ages is a myth, it was a time when women were little more than property and honor only applied between Noblemen of the same religion. Women in today's military have more opportunities than did the WASPs.

I wouldn't want to go back in time any further than my 18th birthday so that I could try again now that I have a little wisdom. The present is by far the best time.

let me tell you that you have pick very interesting periods of time... specially with the Bronte sisters... I really enjoy history, so I'd normally choose any time of the world history (medieval ages, Christopher Colombus coming to America, or Erick the Red before him..) but, speaking more sincerely: when Jesus died in the cross for all of us... wow.. what a moment, dont you think..?

For me it would be the early 19th century, a time where duty ,loyalty, and family had more importance than today. To see America form the basis of democracy, tolive in an age of style and civility. and i have a thing for tall ships but i would like to see it through the eyes of tolerance and deplore the injustices done to women and peoples of other races and of course the poor

If i could go back in history i would go to the time when Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. The light bulb is used for so many things today so it would be pretty cool to see it being made. i would give Thomas pointers on how to sell and distribute the light bulbs. Also how to make it safer.

There are a few things that I would like to witness. I'd want to go back to Ancient Egypt and visit Karnak and see how the temple was really used and what the people were like. I'd like to see how Stonehenge was used and how it was built. I'd also like to sit in on one of Shakespeare's plays and Mozart's recitals. I'm curious about so many periods and people in history that my list could go on for a long time.

The lull just before ww2, we were on the dawn of a new and rewarding rapid advancing age. Whole new skills were needed to march the pace, and little time to perfect such. A great challenge that separated the faint, wether man, boy , or girl. made girls into self sufficient women. this told our enemies abroad that they had more than just a fight on their bloody hands.

I think I'd prefer the wild west as Americans first started settling our west. I would have like to have known the Native Americans and think it would have been interesting to be a lady in the land of bad men.
LOL
