Somebody told me toothpaste helps but it doesnt seem to work. :(

Is there such a thing as a special liquid you rub on the screen to remove scratches?

There is a paste called Displex (available e.g. here: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/3298.htm).

Some sulfuric acid will clear up the scratches, or hit the screen with a hammer, scratches won't go away, but you can entertain your self with the colors that will show.

I put a thin coat of clear nail polish on my cell phone screen and it worked great.

No you can't remove. Once they are there, they are there forever. You can protect your screen from further damage though, buy putting a screen protector over your screen.
