I believe in marriage, but I don't look down on anyone who doesn't. I believe that everyone needs to do what is right for them. If you don't want to get married, and just want to live with someone and be monogamous, I think that's no different than being married (in a sense)

My husband and I lived together for 5 years, even called each other husband and wife, and quite frankly, we could have gone forever without getting legally married and it would never have changed the way we felt about each other. The only reason we got married was that we had 2 little girls, and I wanted them to have a mommy with the same last name as them who was legally married to their dad - I know that when parents aren't legally married, the children sometimes suffer the ridicule from their peers, and I didn't want that for my kids.

So, yes, I believe in marriage, but I also think that whatever is right for you is what you should go with - If you don't believe in marriage, then I don't think you should get married just because it's what other people believe or tell you you should do.

i do believe in marriage.. it is very hard i have been married twice to men i loved but things change and so do people.. you have to be willing to change too.. but not compromise yourself for habits that may arise.. ie:alcholol or drugs.. chidren are at stake and sometimes you have to stop being a wife and think of the situation you have your children in.. it is not to be taken lightly..I would have never dreamed I would be divorced..life is real not whats on TV or soap operas.. its a personal choice ..I hope I helped..

yes i do believe in marrige. why dont u? marrige is something special, its the bond of two people that are in love and that are going to spend the rest of their lives together. now, it doesnt always turn out that way, but thats the purpose of marrige.
