Only when l'm racing!!
If they really wanted us to drive with both hands on the wheel they wouldnt have invented power steering.
But I know how to drive... most people dont!

I asked a similar question once and got some interesting responses: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsADjHResFbqBwCAByK0NmPsy6IX?qid=20060720085820AAL2h5N
Otherwise, yes I drive with both hands on the wheel. And for all those people that think they are "smart" because they drive standard so they don't need to drive with both hands on the wheel - YOU ARE IDIOTS! The best drivers in the world (Rally Racing, NASCAR, Formula1) are ALL STANDARD! Do you see them driving with one hand?? DUH!!!!

I'm 15, so i don't have a license to drive cars, but i do have one to fly planes and when i fly i don't put both my hands on the yoke(airplane's wheel) since you have to have one on the yoke and the other on the throttle.
good luck.
