I missed taking one last night and now I'm at work. What I usually did in situations like this, I'll take 2 the following night. So far, I haven't had any unwanted pregnancies.
Any girls who have been in similar situation? What did you do? Or what is the right thing to do?

The best thing to do is to take an extra pill as soon as you remember. So if you usually take it at (say) 8pm, and you get home at 4:30, take last night's pill at 4:30 and tonight's pill at 8 as usual. Don't stress too much about it - if you're really worried, abstain from sex for a night, or use a condom.
Whether or not you could get pregnant tonight will also depend on where in the cycle you are. If you've just come off the placebo pills it's very unlikely that you'll get pregnant even if you do ovulate because there will be no uterus lining to accept the fertilised egg. The risk is a little higher when you're closer to the placebo pills (14-21 days into the packet of pills) but still I don't think you should worry too much about it.

When I forget to take one I take it as soon as I remember (it is usually before I am suposed to take the next one) but if I dont have it with me I take it when I get home... I kept forgetting to take it so what I did was I put the pack by my toothbrush, that is something I do before I leave the house everyday no matter where I am going, so it has helped A LOT! I do still miss here and there but not as badly as before... I have never gotten prego from missing a pill btw

you need to read the leaflet in the packet of pills. if its after a certain amount of time of u forgetting to take it then u have to use extra protection during sex for a couple of days. not 100% sure because im on the injection now rather than taking the pill. but will state it clearly in the leaflet the best steps to take if a pill is missed. or if u are sick after taking it - because it wouldnt get obsorbed into ur blood stream so basically the same as missing it

I have heard that doing what you are doing with taking two pills actually will suffice, though I don't know how well it works if you miss consistently. When I was taking pills I carries them around everywhere with me along with setting the alarm on my watch, no matter where I was or what I was doing I would take my pill right then.
I never ended up pregnant whether I forgot or not.

What I told my daughter to do so that she would not miss taking her pills is to set her alarm on her cell phone. She chose the time of 5:30pm because she would be out of school at that time and just before dinner. That way she is doing it on her time where no one would now, like if she was taking it at school or something like that. I would just take the 2 tonight and still be carefull when having sex, still make sure that you protect yourself until you start fresh again. Good luck and hope my reminder works for youl

I have also missed as well and haven't had anything happen yet either. I usually take it as soon as I remember or just pop 2 at one time as well. It also depends at which week you are at on ur strip.

Take one when you get home, and take the regular one tonight. Don't worry, I've missed, and taken two many times, and nothing happened.

your posibiliy of to be pregnant increase with your mistake, use condom until you finish your pills.
