I´m Basque and I usual see that show, South Park is very funny, but I think that they are too hard, with Tom Cruise for example.

Matt and Trey are Republicans?!?!?

From what I read (see link, and scroll down to "Recurring Themes - Political Issues"), the boys consider themselves libertarians.

Here's a portion from that link:
"In an interview with the two in Time Magazine (March 13, 2006) the two have stated that the only reason people might peg them for conservatives is that they are willing to mock anti-smoking laws and hippies. They also stated that the show could just as easily be pegged as a show supporting liberal ideologies. The interview ended with Trey quipping "We still believe that all people are born bad and are made good by society, rather than the opposite" and Matt adding "Actually, I think that's where we're conservative.""

Being a Republican myself, I actually find the show to be part offensive and part funny...so I watch out of voyeuristic interest!

South Park is not exactly considered "great work of art". The quality of graphics was never intended to be great. It's the ideas behind the show that drive the ratings. South Park pisses off just as many Democrates as Republicans. I doubt Republicans are more against the show than Democrates.

I watch south park, and im 17 and that i recognize what they say is amazingly irrelevant for toddlers. id say the youngest a toddler must be is 14. Im in basic terms going by using the TV14 thats in the nook even as the instruct starts off. I trust that more beneficial than being 15. also it relies upon how mature that 14 year old is and they recognize they cant bypass out in the actual international and repeat the words used.

of all the episodes I've seen with a political message, the ONLY one I thought was remotely incorrect was in "Red Hot Catholic Love". Not the part about Catholicism, 'cause that was dead on.
but the part where the parents are talking about athiesm ( they should remove "under god" from Pledge Of Alliegance).
They equate those ideas with Bullsh*t, and I thought that was absolutely wrong. Otherwise, I've agreed with the political statements of every episode. But I'm not retarded like Repubs and Demos.

How can you NOT find that show funny?
I don't get it at all. its SMART and HILARIOUS.
What's not to like?

I am a Republican and I find it offensive. However I am fairly certain that it has nothing to do with my political preference but it has more to do with not finding any humor in the show.
