Ghost, nonmaterial embodiment or essence of an organism, especially of a human being. The term is sometimes used virtually as a synonym for soul or spirit, and in the Christian religion, in the form Holy Ghost (now, more often, Holy Spirit), it has a specialized meaning. More frequently, however, the term ghost is applied to an apparition, usually of a dead person, that varies in apparent solidity from a mere foglike mass to a perfect replica of the person. A wraith, in contrast, is the visible spirit of someone still alive. A doppelgänger is a special form of wraith that makes its appearance at a time when the physical body of the subject is observed at some distant place.
In many religions, and particularly in primitive faiths, the belief exists that the spirit wanders away from the body during periods of unconsciousness such as sleep. Such religions also teach that after death the spirit lingers near the body of the dead person. A common practice of groups holding such beliefs is to propitiate the ghosts of the dead by offerings of food, clothing, and other objects that the ghosts may find useful in the spirit world. In many primitive civilizations the personal possessions of a dead man, including his weapons, his pets, and sometimes even his wife, are buried or burned with his body. The practice of ancestor worship, as well as the mourning rites of many modern civilizations, probably originated in the belief in ghosts; see Funeral Rites and Customs.

There are many different things that may happen when we die. Some people may get the chance to live again and again, some may come back to visit us, some might get grounded/stuck here. I guess we have to wait and see what really happens when it is our time! I am sure that loved ones can see us. I have also caught footage on camera of light orbs responding to my voice, so I truly believe that there is another form of life after this. I have also experienced things that I can't explain, so that confirms it even more in my mind. I have also been to see a medium a couple of times, that came out with things that she could not possibly have known. She has also has been spot on with all my friends that have seen her as well.

I believe in ghosts and the spirit world. I have had no experiences at all but believe that they do exist. I have been a believer for over 15 years. I belive that after we die our soul passes into the world of spirit, we live on a different vibration. I do think our loved ones who have passed over can see and remember us, I also believe they pay us visits when we need comfort or guidance.

That is a very very complicated question. Would you like to simplify? Start off by defining the difference between ghosts and spirits.
The detailed part of the question is easy. No one knows the answer. Personally I think that when you are dead you are dead. But I may be wrong.

I like to think we go on to something, it is a bit depressing to think we are on this earth for a few years then that is it. I don't know about seeing relatives and friends it would all depend on where we end up. The big problem is you don't know until you die. It is a nice thought that our loved ones can see us and who knows watching over us to a greater or lesser extent.
A friend and myself have an agreement when one of us dies if it is possible they will appear to the other, it will settle a few questions if we can.

I personally believe in nothing, but our logical wisdom. After we die, our bodies will demolish into some molecules and spread around the planet -or more exactly around the cosmos. If one is lucky, his/her molecules may end-up in another living creature. And if this creature has photosensitive organs, it might be able to see loved ones, who are alive, and not those ones who passed-by. And honestly, I see no added value, if a let's say bird or cat sees my kids, girlfriends or mom or dad!

I do believe in spirits. I firmly believe that if a person dies
suddenly his/her spirit will remain earth bound for a while.
Spirits keep trying to communicate with the living via any
means possible. Thus the haunting. I also believe that the dearly departed does watch over loved ones. I know my grandparents
watch over me. I have had some near misses thanks to intervention from my grandparents.

I like to think about the law which states energy becomes something else but does not end. Our bodies have energy. We have electrical impulses going thru us to keep our muscles going, nerves communicating & so on. When we die where does the energy go? It cannot just die with us so I would like to believe it goes to another place called heaven.

I think our loved ones do remember us and yes I think they can see us ? after we die I guess God asks what we did in our life, kind of like a resume when you apply for a job, but I'm thinking God looks inside of you to see if your good enough to be let into Heaven. I really don't know.
