Uh, every living being probably has experienced a mutation of some sort and will almost always experience one in their life. Mutations are natural. So basically all sunbathers and nuclear engineers will be instantly put to death, and all other bystanders will be arrested. And the prison guards will shoot themselves. That's in your magnificent fantasy world.

Edit: Ginger cat deserves best answer. We had a debate about this a few months ago and ginger just about nailed most of it.

yes i think it should be. They say the ethical reasons for not legalizing it and i dont think it is true. There are hazards that genetic mutation can be used for hazards but think of the good things that it can do like curing hereditary diseases and even cure cancer.I once read that cancer is caused when a ceratin gene is switched on they say that if the gene is switched off cancerous growth will stop.Think about AIDS.You know that it happens when the DNA is turned into RNA.What if we can turn it back to DNA?I say that reaseach should be done to help people .Every coin has two sides and we should be able to respect ethics and work for the betterment. It is not wise to stop research on Biotechnology saying that it is a threat to life. Then why is still research going on in fusion bombs which are 100 times more devastating than the nuclear bombs.Learn to use a technology well and respect the world. No true scientist will ever harm life.

Possibly, yes. I don't want stupid people growing up around me. I hate stupid people. And it will save money helping those 'special' kids.
