Nobody for the Evil Dead trilogy, Dead Alive, or 28 Days Later?

Shaun of the Dead. It's hillarious.

If you get it on DVD, there's a thing called Zombie-pop on it. All the way through, little facts keep popping up on the screen; who's singing the song at that time, where they got the idea for a certain scene etc.

The very last one is "Shaun of the Dead is a true story".

I love Shawn of the Dead as it is very funny.
But for a big scare it has to be 28 days as it is set in london which is on my door step. And i love bitish films then u.s movies were everyone is running around with guns.
28 days later looks more real and make you think this can could happen. That what makes it scarey.

Also there is going to be a flow up of 28 days late called 28 weeks later.

I loved "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" made in 1970. It had scares and humor in all the right places. A film crew is stalked by zombies on a deserted island after one of their actresses inadvertently raises the dead through a movie prop which turned out to be an an ancient occult book. The characters of the obsessive, control-freak director and his loopy sister are 2 of the highlights of this little known, under appreciated Indy film. It's worth checking out. I don't know if the movie has ever been released on DVD but I did rent it several years ago on video. It was distributed by the "Gorgon Video" label.

I HATE zombie movies where the little kid is all evil and stuff (with the exception of the original Omen, not the new one) I liked Shaun of the Dead because believe it or not it's the most realistic zombie movie ever made. Of course observation has shown me almost every Video Game series made into a movie has either hot video game vixens, or zombies...sometimes both (Resident Evil, eh?) House of the Dead, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Doom, all had zombies

Okay, everyone has good answers, but the original Dawn of the Dead is the best. At least I think so. I've met many of the zombies and stars from the movie. I've also toured the mall it was filmed in (Monroeville Mall, outside of Pittsburgh,PA). With such a great experince, how could I not think it's the best horror movie!
