It's brilliant! It's got this big shark in it and stuff and it goes round and eats people and their lilos and stuff and then there's this guy with a moustache who goes "I'll catch your shark" and then he gets eated as well and then there's this other thing than happens. It brill!

Nope, can't say I've ever heard of it. A shark, you say? Doesn't sound like a really exciting basis for a movie. I can only imagine it was a huge financial flop.
Oh, there's this really cool movie you should check out...dramatic, exciting, and historically accurate....I can't remember what it was called, but there's this big ship with lots of people on it, and these two beautiful young people run around alot, dance for no discernable reason, make sexy nude sketches, and have sex in an old car. Anyhoo, the big boat hits this even bigger piece of ice floating in the ocean, and sinks. All the good people die (except one) and all the bad people live (except one). I think it might be based on a true story, if I could only remember the name.....Gigantic? Very few people saw it, so I'm hoping someone will remember the name.
Oh yeah, and some dude made a few movies about people in scratchy wool toga-looking things waving neon swords around, but I've forgotten the names of those too.....

Sure did. And promptly cancelled plans to go swimming in the ocean.In fact, I still don't. Did you know that most people bitten by sharks are in water 3-5 feet deep? It was, after all, a pretty scary movie, You won't see me swimming with sharks anytime soon!

Its a classic horror movie. We don't even see the shark for about 30 minutes - just that two note cello part, so when you hear it, you get afraid! Brilliant is right.

omg, who hasn't? I still remember seeing it at the movie theatre and it scared me crapless! I did not want to go to the beach or any where near water for many years! I'm still a little shy of the beach but not as much now! :)

Man... Jaws has been out since forever... it is a good but not a great movie... the suspense and music are what get you.
