If you want a girl... have sex 2-3 days before your ovulation. If you want a boy... have sex the day of ovulation. Research studies have shown that the sperm carrying the XX chromosome is slower, larger, and live longer than that of the XY. So... when the XY reach the fallopian tubes and there is no egg... they will die off. The best way to know when to have sex to conceive a boy (besides the BBT charting) is to buy an ovulation test... and NOT the saliva ones (try the Clearblue Ovulation tests or First Response). When you have your LH surge... have sex about 11-12 hours later... it will increase your chances for a baby boy. Good luck!!

If you want a boy why not adopt ? You will be giving an orphan the chance of a decent life !

It's really not up to you...the sex is determined by your husband. I'm sure there are a few old wives tales about techniques, but there's no sure fire way to determine the sex of your child at conception.
