All you have to do is highligh both columns and then click "data" on the toolbar then "sort" then just select the column with the numbers. All relationships will stay in tact. godd luck

Select both columns and go to Data, Sort

When the window comes up, make sure it sorts using the column with the numbers and viola!

They should keep the same letters with the numbers.

Highlight all the data, and if they are in say columns A and B then you click "data-sort-by column B-in ascending order."

HTH.
